This is a significant opportunity for an Analyst with a background in real estate to progress their career at a market leading residential investor. Strong modelling and excel skills are required and the successful candidate will be responsible for appraising new and existing opportunities from a select group of developers, housebuilders and in term progressing towards an internal board approval.

Client Details

This rapidly growing residential real estate investment company providing residential housing across the UK are currently recruiting an Investment Analyst or Associate to join their team of housing, development / project management and finance professionals. Secured funding lines in place with institutional investors, my client possesses a significant pipeline of new build projects.

Description

  • Excellent Excel skills with ability to provide insightful analysis and drive senior decision making.
  • Communicate articulately and in a variety of ways, depending on audience - speaking to internal management will be different to speaking to funding partners.
  • Sector expert for the business, ensuring anything "new" is being monitored and communicated internally, providing opportunities for business growth.
  • Ability to switch between priorities quickly - between capital stack analysis, reporting to funders, underwrite for IC, engagement with lawyers, valuers and banks for example.
  • Contribute to Investment Committee packs for new acquisitions, ensuring that the properties match investment partner's requirements.
  • Run the Due Diligence process for new transactions.

Profile

The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years' experience in a Real Estate Acquisitions related position and possess a relevant degree in real estate or finance. You will review and perform financial modelling and investment appraisals, investment committee packs, review and audit acquisition bids.
