Our client, a renowned renewable energy investment firm based in iconic offices in London, has an exciting opportunity for an Investment Data & Operations Analyst to join and support a close-knit and dynamic investment team focused on sustainability.

Your role responsibilities will be wide and will include overseeing the firm's fund operations and equity trade processing performed by third-party administrators. These processes are largely automated, requiring strong problem-solving skills to investigate and resolve trade fails and exception management. The role involves extensive interaction with the investment team and requires strong Data Analysis and Reporting experience using SQL/Tableau. You will work with the front office to provide data requests, automate processes, lead fund launches and other exciting projects which will appeal to individuals with a curious mindset. This role will suit tech-savvy candidates with strong Excel skills.

This role is ideal for candidates who are highly motivated to seek better ways of doing things, add value, and automate processes. Candidates will possess strong problem-solving abilities, be idea-driven, and have a genuine interest in working with data, producing thoughtful data insights and reporting. The business encourages new ideas and suggestions to improve the company as a whole, whether that involves recommending building an AI tool, creating customised charts in Tableau for the investment team, or participating in investment strategy meetings. Additionally, the investment team and operations are closely integrated, offering enormous exposure to the investment team. The team is a small, collegiate team where all members contribute across all functions and are part of a larger, highly reputable parent company, providing a solid foundation and extensive resources.To be considered, candidates will be degree-educated with some working experience in operations or data analysis within a financial services firm.
