Report to: Assistant Manager

Senior Financial Analyst - What You'll be Doing:

  • Prepare and submit monthly group financial reports for UK entities to HQ for consolidation in Chinese under China GAAP.
  • Analyze major movements and variances for BS/IS and cash flow statement.
  • Work with Share Service Centre in China to complete full pack of the consolidation reports (30-40 schedules monthly), ensuring all the discloses are completed within the timelines.
  • Work closely with accounting team and subsidiaries for smooth monthly close and review the results from reporting perspective.
  • Provide support on all aspects of the company’s internal and external audit.
  • Work closely with local accounting team to understand the GAAP differences between China GAAP and IFRS.
  • Make analysis for the differences between local FS and group financial results and ensure the both sets of reports are aligned.
  • Perform other analysis, ad hoc projects and duties as needed.

Senior Financial Analyst - The Skills You'll Need to Succeed:

  • Fluent written and spoken Mandarin and English
  • Fully qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA or equivalent
  • Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent
  • Strong relevant experience in medium/large companies
  • Proficient in SAP skills, Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to multitask and prioritize workload
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, positive and proactive
  • Remark: Due to Month-End deadlines, the employee will be required to work extended hours during the first week of each month (will be able to can take time off in lieu)
