A leading global supplier of energy services, seeks an Operational Risk Analyst to join their growing team.
About the Role
As the firm expands, there is a need for a skilled professional to help build and shape their risk strategy. You'll play a crucial role in their Operational Risk department, supporting the implementation of risk management frameworks across their commercial and operational activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement operational risk frameworks
- Provide expertise on risk management best practices
- Review and improve risk policies and guidelines
- Support incident management and analysis
- Help develop Enterprise Risk Management framework
- Contribute to business process documentation and improvement
- Prepare and present risk reports
- Collaborate with IT on system changes aligned with risk management
Required Skills and Experience
- Background in commodity trading or shipping industries
- Experience in operational risk, compliance, or internal audit
- Strong knowledge of risk management frameworks and principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle complex, ill-defined processes
- IT proficiency, ideally with ETRM systems
- BPMN process mapping experience
- Professional qualifications in accounting or risk management preferred
