- Wider operational knowledge of managing Primary & Secondary Market LMA Loans.

Our client is seeking an Operations Analyst for their Liquid Credit team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading alternative asset management firm with over $5B billion in assets under management. The successful candidate will be based in London and will play a pivotal role in supporting the liquid strategies of the business. What you'll do:

As an Operations Analyst within the Liquid Credit Team, your role will be integral to supporting various business units within the company. You will report directly to the Operations Team Leader and participate in transformational work and projects to build out the operations platform. Your responsibilities will span across areas such as liquidity management support, loan closing, loan settlements, corporate actions, fund asset servicing, payments, reconciliations, vendor management, and more. Your ability to adapt to changing conditions and maintain strong decision-making skills will be key to your success in this role.

* Provide guidance and training where necessary to the wider team.

* Compile daily cash ladders required for the Treasury Team; Reporting support.

* Ensure timely and accurate settlement of all asset classes.

* Manage the Loan Closing Process, across our three Liquid Credit strategies: Leveraged Credit, Special Situations and Structured Credit

* Manage corporate actions and credit events that affect the investments of the portfolio.

* Oversee the servicing of assets within the fund, including administration, reporting, and compliance.

* Handle payment processing and approvals.

* Perform daily cash and position reconciliations.

* Respond to internal or external stakeholders' queries/requests.

* Manage relationships with 3rd parties and oversee their performance based on SLAs.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Senior Operations Analyst role will bring a wealth of experience in operational knowledge across all asset classes. You should be comfortable using tools like Power Bi and Qlik, as well as proficient in Excel, Bloomberg, Asset Servicing Systems (WSO/Solvas/Sentry). Your technical proficiency should extend to strong attention to detail and data governance. You should have effective management skills to handle all deliverables and meet daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly deadlines. Your ability to prioritize and delegate effectively will be crucial in this role. You should also have strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships both internally and externally.
