QUANTITATIVE ANALYST

LONDON

This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate with Python modelling experience, who is looking to move into the investment space.

THE COMPANY

This opportunity is for an investment wrap platform which has over £64.1 billion of funds and offers both financial advisors, and investor clients. They offer a wide range of products including ISAs, pensions, and life insurance investment bonds to name a few.

THE ROLE

You can expect to be involved in the following day-to-day:

  • Gather and have a strong knowledge of business requirements for data analysis.
  • Carry out data extraction from databases.
  • Carry out thorough checks on data extracts, and transform data into the right format for data analysis.
  • Develop and run actuarial and data science models.
  • Assist with communicating results of data analysis through written documents and data visitations.
  • Transform existing processes to Python.
  • Up-skill team members in Python.
  • Assist with actuarial valuation processes and model improvements/changes.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • 1 year of experience in a quantitative role.
  • Experience developing models using Python.
  • Experience creating presentations and reports to feedback findings, using a visualisation tool such as Power BI, Looker, or Tableau.
  • Strong Python experience.
  • Experience with SAS or SQL is desirable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
