Meraki Talent is delighted to be partnering with a prestigious Investment Management firm to recruit a motivated and ambitious Senior Capital Analyst. This is a permanent role, based in Central London, offers the opportunity to work closely with the Capital Manager and Head of Capital, contributing to key financial processes and regulatory reporting in a dynamic and collaborative environment.  Key Responsibilities
  • Recalculate and analyse regulatory capital and leverage exposure at group and entity levels monthly.
  • Review and explain balance sheet movements against forecasts.
  • Update assumptions and calculations for countercyclical capital buffers and capital requirement projections.
  • Support daily capital reporting and maintain forecasting models.
  • Assist with regulatory reporting, ICAAP, ICARA, and Recovery & Resolution planning through data provision.
  • Prepare regulatory returns and ensure compliance with governance frameworks.
  • Produce Management Information (MI) reports and maintain accurate data records.
  • Participate in performance forums, taking minutes and tracking actions.
  • Update and refine procedures to reflect process changes.
  Person Specification
  • Part-qualified or actively studying towards ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent; ACT or similar qualifications will also be considered.
  • Previous experience in maintaining forecasting models.
  • Strong ability to convey information and ideas effectively and address issues with key stakeholders.
  • Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise workload and work independently.
  • Proficient in using the full MS Office suite.
  • Skilled in translating data into meaningful analysis to support decision-making.
