My client, an award-winning global FMCG, is seeking a Senior Commercial Finance Analyst to manage financial performance for their Ireland and Retail divisions.
The role involves business partnering, financial control, and insightful reporting, with key responsibilities including month-end reporting and maintaining the Ireland performance dashboard.
Candidates should have a proven track record in commercial finance, be studying towards CIMA or equivalent, and possess strong Excel and SAP skills.

We're seeking a dynamic Senior Commercial Finance Analyst to join my client's finance team and play a key role in managing the financial performance of their Ireland and Retail divisions. This position will involve business partnering, financial control, and insightful reporting to support my client's business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Month-End Reporting: Deliver insightful performance reports.
Ireland Reporting: Maintain and evolve the Ireland performance dashboard.
Customer P&Ls: Coordinate Ireland customer P&Ls, ensuring visibility and driving insights.
Latest Estimates and Forecasting: Analyse sales and margin variances.
Joint Business Planning: Manage scenario planning

Direct Leadership (15%):

Team Management: Lead and develop 2 direct reports, setting clear priorities and conducting productive reviews.

Projects and Process Improvement (20%):

Process Improvements: Identify and implement process enhancements to reduce complexity and improve outputs.

We are looking for a finance professional with a proven track record within a commercial finance role. Ideally you will be studying towards CIMA or equivalent, with a broad knowledge of finance techniques and practices. Finally, you will be proficient in Excel, have experience with SAP and have exposure to managing people.

This role is offered on a hybrid basis: 60% office/travel, 40% WFH with up to 15% travel in the UK and Ireland
