SENIOR CREDIT RISK ANALYST - STRATEGYLONDON £50,000 to £65,000
A growing FinTech company is looking for an outstanding analyst to enhance their credit risk strategy and portfolio performance within existing customers. This is a key role focused on credit limit management and analytical insights to drive profitability and growth.
THE COMPANY
A digital lender specialising in the unsecured lending space. The company have a strong focus on their product development and individual profitability of the product before looking to drive growth later this year. This is a growth role for the business due to recent success. They are fast paced and provide the ability to work on wide scoping projects.
THE ROLE
As a Senior Credit Risk Analyst, you will work within the existing customer team and be involved in wide-scoping projects, which include but are not limited to:
- Develop and execute credit limit increase and decrease strategies
- Analyse portfolio performance and identify strategic opportunities
- Provide insights to support marketing and product teams
- Work closely with senior stakeholders to enhance credit risk decision-making
- Utilise SQL and/or Python to extract and analyse credit risk data
- Contribute to the company's profitability and growth plans
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate has a strong analytical mindset, experience in credit risk strategy, and a commercial approach to decision-making.
Essential:
- 2+ years experience in credit risk or financial services analytics
- Strong SQL, Python skills
- Ability to connect insights with business strategy
- Experience within credit risk strategy is ideal
- Credit cards experience is desirable
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously
Nice to Have:
- Experience with credit limit strategy
- FinTech or banking experience
- Exposure to commercial decision-making in credit risk
