CREDIT RISK ANALYST

UP TO £80,000

LONDON

This business is seeking a Credit Risk Analyst to join the Credit Risk function of the business. The role looks after collections data analysis, and you will contribute to strategy improvements to optimise collections and recovery processes.

THE COMPANY

This is the global preferred embedded financing platform for some of the world's leading e-commerce sites. The software platform offers various flexible financing products, to match the merchants desired offerings and branding.

THE ROLE

You will be doing the following daily:

  • Analyse collections data, where you will be identifying trends, patterns, and areas for improvement within the strategy.
  • Develop insights to inform new collection strategies.
  • Work closely with the Collections Operations function to design and then implement new strategies and optimise existing processes.
  • Prepare and present reports on the collection's performance to senior management.
  • Ensure the accuracy of collection data by consistently updating databases and systems.
  • Cross-collaborate across the business, working closely with Finance, Sales, Underwriting, and Customer Services.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Strong knowledge of SQL.
  • Previous experience working in credit risk collections.
  • Previous experience building/managing collections strategies.
  • Desirable to be proficient in Python.
  • Numerate degree from a Russel Group university.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
