THE ROLE
You will be responsible for driving key initiatives and working alongside senior leaders in the organisation. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Developing and enhancing credit risk models, focusing on regulatory requirements such as IRB and IFRS9.
- Validating and improving model design, performance, and implementation.
- Leading stress testing exercises, from operational execution to model development and validation.
- Integrating ESG considerations across data, models, and risk processes.
- Contributing to ad-hoc business development activities, including client meetings, workshops, and proposal preparation.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 4+ years of experience in IRB or IFRS9 credit risk modelling or validation
- Strong skills with tools such as Python, SQL, SAS, or R
- Detailed knowledge of financial regulations, particularly in banking
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex ideas
- Strong university degree within STEM or a relative field
