Our client is an acquisitive, PE backed B2B service provider and a leader in their industry, leveraging cutting-edge technology to provide their clients with best-in-class solutions. Job Overview: Following a Workday Financials implementation, our client is seeking a highly skilled Workday Financials System Analyst to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and optimising the Workday Financials system to ensure it meets the needs of the business and enhances financial operations. If you are a proactive problem-solver with a passion for technology and finance, we want to hear from you!Key Responsibilities:
  • System Maintenance and Optimisation: Ensure the Workday Financials system is up-to-date and functioning optimally by conducting regular maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing enhancements. Administer tickets through the JIRA ITSM and JIRA projects platforms.
  • Configuration and Customisation: Configure and customise the Workday Financials system to align with business needs, including creating and maintaining reports, dashboards, and workflows. This includes the bi-annual workday release.
  • Data Integrity and Security: Maintain data integrity and security within the Workday Financials system, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • User Support and Training: Prepare training manuals and user documentation for the Workdays Financial system. Provide support and training to end-users to maximise system utilisation and address any technical issues or questions they may have.
  • Reporting: Develop and manage financial reports though various Workday reporting tools to support business needs, adhering to and supporting compliance with regulations and company policies.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, IT, and HR, to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions within Workday Financials.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend changes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations.
Skills/Experience:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a System Functional Analyst or similar role, with at least 2 years of experience specifically with Workday Financials.
  • Proven track record of configuring and managing Workday Financials modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Procurement.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail and intuitive mind.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Workday Financials, including report writing and dashboard creation.
