Senior Modelling Analyst- Real Estate. OUR CLIENT are a well-capitalised, expanding low carbon developer and investor delivering exceptional living and workspace buildings. Due to their constantly growing business, they have instructed us to help them identify an experienced and capable Senior Modelling Analystto join their enthusiastic team based in London.

THE ROLE: Responsibilities for the Senior Modelling Analyst will entail but not be limited to:

  • The core and initial focus of the role will be in helping create a unified model and supporting deal activity through extensive financial modelling, ensuring accuracy of model outputs, and building and maintaining new and existing financial models.

Thereafter the incumbent will also be responsible for:

  • Conducting market research and analysing real estate trends.
  • Assisting in the preparation of internal investment memoranda and reporting.
  • Supporting the Investment Team as needed, including but not limited to conducting market research, assisting the underwrite process of pipeline deals, transaction due diligence, analysing and maintaining models for existing investments, monitoring investment KPIs.
  • Multi-tasking across various projects and collaborating with all departments within the business to ensure accurate and timely financial analysis.

THE PERSON and SKILLS REQUIREMENTS for Senior Modelling Analystrole:

  • MUST be able to create models independently with Advanced Excel functions - Also VBA, Python, and/or SQL are an asset.
  • At least 3-5+ years of relevant real estate modelling experience gained in investment banking / advisory, data analytics, accounting, Big 4 transaction services, or buy-side role.
  • Excellent quantitative and modelling skills.
  • Understanding of accounting and finance concepts.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy in financial models.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to work with people across all departments.
  • Committed, results-oriented team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced growth environment.
  • Ability to take ownership and identify and solve problems independently.
