Senior Operations Analyst, Liquid Credit

They are seeking a Senior Operations Analyst for their Liquid Credit Team based in London. This role offers an attractive salary range, and the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment that focuses on delivering attractive risk-adjusted returns for its investors across its private debt, liquid credit and private equity solutions businesses.

What you'll do:

As a Senior Operations Analyst within the Liquid Credit Team, your role will be pivotal in supporting various business units within the organisation. You will report directly to the Liquid Credit Team Leader and participate in transformational work and projects to build out the operations platform. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include everything from strategic planning, training, liquidity management support, settlements, corporate actions management to vendor management. This role requires someone who can handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.

  • Support the Team Leader with strategic planning for the team.
  • Provide guidance and training where necessary to the wider team.
  • Compile daily cash ladders required for the Treasury Team; Reporting support.
  • Ensure timely and accurate settlement of all asset classes.
  • Manage corporate actions and credit events that affect the investments of the portfolio.
  • Oversee the servicing of assets within the fund, including administration, reporting, and compliance.
  • Handle payment processing and approvals.
  • Perform daily cash and position reconciliations.
  • Respond to internal or external stakeholders' queries/requests.
  • Manage relationships with 3rd parties and oversee their performance based on SLAs.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Senior Operations Analyst role will bring a wealth of experience in operational knowledge across all asset classes. You should be adaptable, able to manage multiple deliverables within set deadlines, and have a strong focus on data governance. Your technical proficiency in Excel, Bloomberg, and Asset Servicing Systems will be crucial to your success in this role. Additionally, your ability to build and maintain strong relationships across all layers of the business will be highly valued.

  • Flexibility in response to changing conditions.
  • Operational knowledge of all asset class operational and settlement knowledge; Data processing; Reconciliations; Payments.
  • Comfortable with using tools like Power Bi and Qlik.
  • Proficient in Excel, Bloomberg, Asset Servicing Systems (WSO/Solvas/Sentry).
  • Attention to detail; Data governance; Strong decision-making.
  • Effective management of all deliverables; daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly deadlines.
  • Ability to prioritize and delegate effectively; Function independently in a complex environment.
  • Effective communication skills; Establishing and maintaining strong relationships internally and externally; Proactively building strong relationships across all layers of the business.
  • Ability to challenge the status quo; Desire for continuous improvement; Change mindset and proactive in seeking improvement opportunities.
  • Collaboration with internal and external teams; Supporting team training and integration.
