Robert Half is supporting their client, a leading consultancy, in their search for a Technical Controls Consultant with financial services experience. The role will support the Data & Analytics Engineering team in conducting a technical controls gap assessment across multiple business areas, ensuring full regulatory compliance.
Contract Assignment Details:
- Location: London (Hybrid Working - 1 day per week)
- Duration: Initial 6 months (with potential extension)
- Day Rate: £700 via PAYE (employer's NI & tax deducted at source - no umbrella company fees)
- Start Date: w/c 14th October subject to onboarding
Key Responsibilities:The Technical Controls Consultant will work alongside the Data & Analytics Engineering team to assess and validate technical control gaps across Risk Intelligence and other areas. Key responsibilities include:
- Technical Gap Assessment: Conduct a comprehensive technical controls gap assessment across relevant business functions.
- Validation of Existing Analysis: Validate the prior technical controls gap assessment to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Regulatory Traceability: Ensure that technical controls across all areas can be traced back to regulatory requirements and traceability matrices.
- Cross-Referencing with Client Standards: Align required controls with relevant client standards and frameworks.
- Remediation Roadmap: Develop a roadmap to address any gaps identified during the assessments.
Requirements:
- Proven experience with technical controls assessments and gap analysis within the financial services sector.
- Expertise in regulatory frameworks and traceability matrices.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, particularly in a technical/engineering capacity.
- Proven track record of developing remediation roadmaps.
