**Trade & Transaction Reporting Analyst** (Contract)
Duration: 12 Months (Possibility for extension)
Location: London/Hybrid (2 - 3 days in office)

Role Overview
As a Trade & Transaction Reporting Analyst, you will play a critical role in tracking and analysing regulatory communications across EMEA regulators, specifically focusing on European Market Infrastructure Regulation (EMIR Refit). Your insights will ensure our organisation maintains compliance while enhancing operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Regulatory Monitoring: Track and analyse updates from EMEA regulators to ensure compliance with EMIR Refit requirements.
- Technical Requirements: Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to build, analyse, and document detailed technical business requirements for new regulations and changes.
- Reconciliation Analysis: Utilise DUCO to run and analyse reconciliations, ensuring the completeness and accuracy of EMIR-related data. Learn to customise reconciliations to address control gaps as identified.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work within a multi-disciplinary team to gain consensus on the best solutions, implementing necessary changes within agreed timeframes and quality parameters.
- Business Case Development: Ensure that business cases, plans, and control processes are detailed enough to evaluate potential impacts, including a traceability matrix for all changes made.
- Timely Execution: Involve appropriate staff to execute reconciliations as part of the control framework, assessing impacts, agreeing on solutions, and ensuring high-quality controls, testing, and delivery of changes.
- Stakeholder Communication: Present issues and remediation plans to senior stakeholders across Compliance, Operations, and Technology.
- Issue Resolution: Ensure the resolution of identified process issues, enhance reconciliation scope, test controls, deliver changes, and produce Management Information (MI) for governance groups.
Required Expertise:
- Comprehensive understanding of trade and transaction reporting regulations.
- Proven ability to run, build, and analyse reconciliations while identifying issues.
- Strong analytical skills to work autonomously on quality assurance reports and determine impacts on the firm.
- Capability to support Business As Usual (BAU) submissions, exception reviews, and client queries as needed.
