Join my client's dynamic Treasury team as a Treasury Dealer, where you will play a pivotal role in driving financial strategies and operations across Fixed Income, FX, Money Markets, and ALM. This position offers the opportunity to work directly under the guidance of the Head of Treasury, focusing on maximising revenue while adhering to the bank’s risk framework and regulatory limits.
Day-to-day of the role:- Execute fixed income and FX transactions to optimise revenue generation within established regulatory frameworks.
- Scout and evaluate new Eurobonds for the bank’s investment portfolio, crafting compelling business cases for credit approval.
- Proactively monitor and enhance the bank’s fixed income portfolio by capitalising on yield-enhancing opportunities.
- Accurately price money market deals in alignment with the rate guide coordinated with the Head of Treasury.
- Remain abreast of global financial, economic, political, and social trends to gauge their impact on FX and interest rates.
- Implement trading strategies developed by the Head of Treasury while managing potential operational, market, and credit risks effectively.
- Expand and nurture client relationships, actively seeking new opportunities and fostering business growth with the existing client base.
- Guarantee the efficient and compliant execution of all treasury transactions, including confirmation, settlement, and documentation.
- Provide reliable support for FX or Money Market dealers during their absence.
- Deep expertise in Fixed Income, FX, and Money Markets.
- Thorough understanding of credit market dynamics and the elements influencing price movements.
- Proven background in a financial services setting, with a strong emphasis on treasury or banking operations involving Treasury Products.
- Advanced IT proficiency, particularly in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Well-versed in cash management, financial markets, and banking operations.
- Familiarity with KYC/On-boarding processes.
- Exceptional numerical and analytical prowess.
- A university degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics is essential.
- ACI Dealing certification and CTP certification are preferred.
