We are currently partnering with a high profile insurance business who seeking an experienced Treasury Analyst to join them in a newly created role as their team scales.

Reporting into the Treasury Manager, you will be joining a collaborative and high-performing Treasury team, supporting a broad range of treasury operations while gaining exposure to front, middle, and back-office activities. This role is ideal for someone with an inquisitive mindset, eager to grow and thrive in a fast-developing business environment with a complex multinational structure.

You will also work with the wider treasury function, contributing to the improvement of processes and controls, and have the opportunity to broaden your skills in a team that values cross-training and career development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Settlements and Operations:
    • Execute and oversee settlement activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
    • Perform KYC checks and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Manage and nurture banking relationships, acting as a key contact for operational queries.
  • Bank Account Management:
    • Set up and maintain bank accounts in the Treasury Management System (TMS) (Kyriba).
    • Monitor bank account structures and ensure optimal utilization.
  • Cash Management:
    • Oversee daily cash positions across multiple entities, ensuring liquidity for claims, expenses, and investments.
    • Manage premium inflows and facilitate intercompany funding while adhering to regulatory constraints.
    • Implement and monitor pooling structures to optimize liquidity and ensure compliance with local requirements.
  • Cash Flow Forecasting and Reporting:
    • Develop and maintain robust cash flow forecasting models.
    • Prepare insightful treasury reports and analysis for senior management.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Collaborate with the Treasury Transformation Lead to enhance processes and controls.
    • Drive automation and efficiencies within the TMS and related systems.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience:
    • 3-5 years of experience in a corporate treasury environment.
    • Insurance industry experience is beneficial but not essential.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in Treasury Management Systems (Kyriba experience is a plus).
    • Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly.
    • Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Attributes:
    • Inquisitive mindset, eager to learn and adapt.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with stakeholders across a multinational structure.
