Equifind have teamed up with a leading financial services firm that is experiencing some fantastic growth currently and need a treasury analyst to add to the finance team. Based in the City of London by Liverpool Street.

If you have strong treasury experience, then this could be the opportunity for you. This is a hybrid role in London which requires 2 days in the office.

The role

Key duties and responsibilities for this treasury analyst position include:

  • As a Client Treasury Associate you will be responsible for managing the financial assets of clients, ensuring efficient cash flow, compliance, and strategic management of funds.
  • You will work closely with and support the existing teams that operate within client money, namely CASS, Finance and Operations.
  • The role reports into the finance team and ultimately the Head of Finance where a Finance personnel will be responsible for the overseeing of daily activities. The candidate will be also assisting in providing cover for a number of diverse activities.

This role is designed for an individual who thrives on accuracy, efficiency, and who is eager to learn, adapt, and take on new challenges in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

Client Management:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for client instructions, addressing treasury-related queries and providing expert guidance.
  • Build and maintain strong client and internal relationships, understanding their financial objectives and operational requirements.
  • Conduct regular reviews of client accounts to identify opportunities for optimizing cash flow and improving liquidity management.

Treasury Operations:

  • Manage daily cash flow for client accounts, ensuring appropriate liquidity to meet operational needs.
  • Processing daily receipts, payments and transactions, including FX instructions
  • Oversee client liquidity requirements and ensure there is adequate funding in the trading platforms.

Compliance and Reporting:

  • Ensure all treasury activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Assist in preparing information that will be presented and shared to the CASS committee fortnightly.

Technology and Tools

  • Utilize treasury management systems (CPS) and financial platforms to automate and optimize treasury operations.
  • Support ongoing developments in understanding and implementing new ways of working.

Other:

  • Provide assistance and to the integration of client data into the firms accounting ledger systems for financial reporting.
  • Preparing analysis of client balances and transactions over time for management committees.
  • Other 'Ad-Hoc’ projects in support of the company’s needs.

Experience & Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in treasury or payments
  • Experience of working within financial services is preferred
  • Experience of multi-currency environments
  • Strong management skills
