A boutique Insurance Broker are looking to appoint an experienced Commercial Account Executive to join their established team in central London. They seek a driven and motivated professional with previous Commercial Property Insurance experience to work alongside their directors in expanding their Commercial portfolio.
About the Role:
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients and to target new clients through the effective marketing of current prospects.
- Establish and manage renewal strategies for all clients in accordance with the division’s procedures/aims to maximise renewal success.
- Ensure clients are correctly and adequately insured for all their insurance exposures and that correct advice is given.
- To take ownership of client accounts, resolving queries and problems in a timely and efficient manner to avoid credit control, bad debt and insurer reconciliation issues.
- To liaise with Accounts and Claims Handlers to complete all supporting documentation to maintain and achieve client service standards.
- To support the business in the achievement of sales targets.
- To maintain professional competence by complying at all times with the Training and Competence procedures of the firm.
Key Skills/Experience Required:
- You will be self-motivated, driven, organised and ambitious.
- You’ll have an in-depth understanding of the commercial property insurance market, including products and regulatory requirements.
- You will be either be an existing Account or Development Executive or have gained extensive commercial property insurance experience.
- A proven track record of successful new business development within the insurance sector.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.
- Ability to build strong relationships with key decision makers.
Salary/Benefits Information:
- Up to £80,000 (DOE)
