Account Executive - Credit Risks

London / Hybrid - Flexible working options

Up to £65,000 + bonus and benefits

Our client, is an established and independent Lloyd's Broker with a solid presence within the London Market. As an Account Executive, you will be an integral part of their Credit Risks Team, who are based in the heart of the City of London.

This exciting position, includes the full account management and growth of an existing portfolio of Trade Credit clients, in a client and market facing role.

Role Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the day-to-day management and growth of an existing portfolio of Trade Credit Clients providing a first-class service to clients and dealing with enquiries in a timely and professional manner to ensure a high renewal retention rate
  • Working collaboratively with team members, directors and the company network
  • Assisting the team with the management and administration of clients and prospective clients
  • Building and maintaining relationships with clients and markets, as well as attending meetings where necessary
  • Negotiating terms with Underwriters on behalf of your clients
  • Looking to obtain referrals and new business for other members of the group
  • Keep up to date with market trends and develop knowledge from competitors and their activity

About You

  • 4 years + of Insurance experience within a Credit Insurance role (Broker side ideal, Insurer side considerable)
  • Excellent relationship building and communication skills
  • Able to work solely or as part of a team
  • Excellent client and market facing skills
  • Solid negotiation skills
