Our client is looking for a new member of the team to support the property lending Relationship Managers and to be the focal point of contact for the clients.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Assist the Business Development Managers with underwriting cases through to credit approval stage and completion.
  • Underwrite mortgage business in accordance with banks policies and guidelines geared towards the achievement of sales volume, income generation targets and service level objectives by satisfying the financial requirements of the client and providing the appropriate regulated mortgage advice as required
  • Assist the Relationship Management (RM) Team in the management and control of a diverse portfolio of loans
  • Co-operate with colleagues to promote an open and supportive environment
  • Deal with client enquiries in a timely and efficient manner
  • Carry out lending reviews on a portfolio of lending clients and to the best possible terms for credit facilities
  • Required skills include:
  • A proven track record of delivering similar capabilities
  • Knowledge of information systems in a financial institution as normally acquired through 12 - 36 months of on-the-job experience using financial application information systems as desired
  • Excellent Interpersonal skills in order to communicate effectively with business users, staff, and external service providers
  • Good communication, organisational and administration skills
  • Good credit skills
  • Speed, accuracy and reliability
  • The ability to own and manage stakeholder relationships at all levels.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and prioritisation of assigned work load.
  • The ability to demonstrate initiative and participate as a team member.
  • Professional demeanour and the ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
  • A willingness to travel to a level necessary to perform the role.
  • CeMAP qualified or working towards
