Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced broker to join our oil-focused desk in London. The role involves working with physical contracts for light-end products such as LPG, naphtha, and gasoline. The successful candidate will manage client relationships, develop new business opportunities, and support the team’s overall growth. Flexibility to provide coverage for colleagues as needed is also part of the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while identifying opportunities to engage with new ones.
- Stay informed about market trends, products, and industry developments through client interactions and research.
- Align with the desk’s strategic goals by identifying emerging opportunities within products, markets, and client needs.
- Collaborate with the onboarding team to bring new clients into the business.
- Understand client requirements and identify opportunities to cross-sell within the organization.
- Remain compliant with relevant industry regulations and promote a risk-aware culture.
- Act with professionalism, integrity, and diligence while escalating issues when necessary.
