They are looking to recruit an experienced insurance professional to take responsibility for their Australian book of wholesale Casualty business.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare insurance slips and endorsements for various Casualty risks emanating from Australia
- Place risks effectively within Lloyd's, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
- Manage and nurture a diverse portfolio of Australian casualty risks and assist the Canadian team when required
- Collaborate with underwriters and clients to assess risk and provide consultative support.
- Monitor and analyse market trends to recommend appropriate coverage options.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Casualty broker or in a similar role within the insurance industry
- Strong understanding of Lloyd's of London and the Australian Casualty insurance market.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple clients effectively.
- Relevant industry qualifications or certifications are preferred.
