Financial Planning Client Service Manager (Financial / Wealth)

Location: Mayfair, London
Salary: £60,000 - £100,000 (negotiable, depending on experience)
Work Schedule: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote

Your Role:

As a Client Service Manager, you will be the cornerstone of our client relationship management and service delivery. You'll be ensuring client satisfaction, supporting financial planners, and managing a small team of administrators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Be the first point of contact, nurture strong client relationships, and address their queries with efficiency and care.
  • Service Delivery: Ensure all client service activities and reports are delivered accurately and on time.
  • Support for Financial Planners: Assist in meeting preparation, documentation, and the execution of financial plans.
  • Administrative Management: Maintain up-to-date client records and ensure processes meet regulatory standards.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor a team of administrators, driving efficiency and professional growth within your team.

About You:

We are looking for a professional with strong interpersonal skills, a methodical and organised mindset, and a passion for client service. Ideal candidates should have experience in financial planning or wealth management and the ability to foster trust and confidence with clients.

Skills & Experience:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial planning software (e.g., IO, Defaqto)
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Leadership experience, capable of mentoring a team
  • Understanding of financial products and compliance requirements
  • Understanding and adhering to the Financial Conduct Authority Tier 1 Conduct Rules
  • Maintaining sufficient knowledge on regulatory matters relevant to own role and tasks (these will be explained during your induction and ongoing training & development)
  • Correctly identifying and escalating issues to the Money Laundering Reporting Officer/Compliance Oversight/Financial Planner, or management when necessary
  • Abide by the FCA Individual Conduct rules.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant financial planning certifications (e.g., CII)
  • 5+ years in a financial planning or similar role
  • Desirable: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
