Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain FIX protocol connectivity solutions to facilitate electronic trading for equities markets.
  • Collaborate closely with trading desks, software developers, and clients to understand business requirements and implement efficient FIX solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity issues, ensuring seamless operation of trading systems and platforms.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes related to FIX protocol and electronic trading technologies.
  • Participate in the testing and deployment of new trading algorithms and strategies.

Requirements:

  • Strong proficiency in FIX protocol with a proven track record of implementing and supporting FIX connectivity solutions in equities trading environments.
  • Experience working in an equities brokerage or similar financial institution is highly desirable.
  • Solid understanding of equities markets, trading workflows, and order management systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
