Your new job working as a Property Account Handler will be based in the City of London for an Independent Lloyd's Broker. Your new Brokers employ over 300 staff around the UK. They have grown rapidly in the last 20 years to become one of the top independent brokers in the UK dealing with over 16,000+ clients. Having completed numerous successful acquisitions, the company has secured further funding to continue its ambitious growth plans. They hold Chartered Insurance Broker status, awarded in recognition of their commitment to maintaining highest standards in many areas. Due to growth within their Property Owners' division, a permanent role for a Property Account Handler has arisen.Your new role
Working as an Account Handler within the Property team, your role will be a varied and interesting role, providing administrative and technical support to Account Executives, Account Managers and the Property Division Manager whilst having a small book of your own clients. You will assist members of the team with administrative tasks that support the day to day running of the division. Responsible for the production of reports including updating fact finds, putting presentations together, uploading information and producing compliant documents from Acturis as well as processing invoices, updating electronic files and dealing with MTA's. Other responsibilities will include ensuring that tasks are allocated and handled efficiently by the property division manager and records are accurate. You will also be responsible for producing debit notes as well as other technical duties. This role may also require travel to other destinations across the UK to conduct client meetings alongside Account Executives as and when necessary.What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience working as an Account Handler handling Property business or Real Estate Account handler role either from an Insurance broker or Lloyd's Broker will contribute to your success in securing this role. You will have experience in the servicing of clients. You will be confident in being able to deal with clients and your experience of working in a similar role is essential. This is a superb opportunity for a confident and highly motivated individual, who is organized, can multi-task and prioritise their day. You will also have good working knowledge of MS Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel). Ideally progression towards Dip CII but not essential.What you'll get in return
