Your new companyYour new job working as a Real Estate Account Executive will be based in the City of London for an Independent Lloyd's Broker. Your new Brokers employ over 300 staff around the UK. They have grown rapidly in the last 20 years to become one of the top independent brokers in the UK dealing with over 16,000+ clients. Having completed numerous successful acquisitions, the company has secured further funding to continue its ambitious growth plans. They hold Chartered Insurance Broker status, awarded in recognition of their commitment to maintaining the highest standards in many areas. The Property Team bring a wealth of expertise and extensive market knowledge and specialised expertise in property insurance. The Property Team is dedicated to delivering tailored insurance solutions to meet these specific needs effectively. Due to growth within their Property division, a permanent role for a Real Estate Account Executive has arisen.Your new roleYour new role as a Real Estate Account Executive means you will play a vital role in managing and growing a portfolio of clients, building strong client relationships and identifying new business opportunities. You will work closely with clients to provide accurate insurance solutions, managing renewals and ensuring their needs are met. Duties will include building strong relationships, acting as the primary contact, ensuring client portfolios remain relevant through regular reviews as well as identifying opportunities, generating leads and driving growth by offering tailored commercial insurance solutions. Further duties will also include overseeing renewals, negotiating competitive terms, ensuring policies reflect evolving client needs, working closely with colleagues to include Account handers, contributing to team success. You will also build and maintain strong relationships with insurers, brokers and other key contacts.What you'll need to succeedYour previous experience working as an Account Executive specialising in Residential Property Owners business, and experience dealing with Managing Agents will contribute to your success in securing this role. You will also understand D&O, Engineering and Terrorism policies. You will have strong knowledge of insurance products, markets and underwriting processes as well as proficiency in insurance platforms and systems. You will be able to demonstrate an ability to generate new business and manage client portfolios effectively whilst running their own book of business. Ideally progression towards ACII and experience with Acturis but not essential. This is a superb opportunity for a proactive, confident and highly motivated individual, who is organised, can multitask and prioritise their day as well as effectively communicate and have a client-focused mindset.
