This is the first rung on the pathway towards Real Estate Asset Manager.

You will be responsible for assisting the Head of Asset Management and the two current Asset Managers in all daily tasks. This will include issuing statements of account to borrowers and investors, aiding borrowers towards redemption including the assessment of new facilities and loan extensions, as well as default management in both a regulated and unregulated environment. There will also be tasks surrounding litigation.

The most important tasks of the role are:

  • Producing statements of account for borrowers, and investors, including monthly when a loan goes past the contractual term.
  • Following and developing a contact strategy to ensure all borrowers have the right support when a loan approaches the end of term to aid successful redemption.
  • Taking enquiries and informing borrowers on information about their loan, redemption, and options for refinance or extending a term where appropriate.
  • Providing information on and dealing with the part-redemption of default loans which includes working with the Finance department and Compliance in processing inward loan payments.

The position requires a comprehensive range of communication skills, tact, professionalism and " a superb eye for detail".

The role is offered on a full time, full office basis.
