About the Role:

BDM Recruitment is actively seeking an experienced Mortgage Advisor or Mortgage Broker for a fantastic hybrid working opportunity in Paddington, London. This role offers a rare chance to join an independently owned Mortgage Broker firm, benefiting from a steady stream of high-quality leads from estate agencies and conveyancing firms. With an average of 10-12 new leads per week and a 40% conversion rate, successful advisors should sign up 4 mortgage cases per week, with an average case value of £2000 and a commission payable of £400 per case, alongside dedicated protection referral support.

This is a Monday to Friday role with flexible hybrid working, allowing you to work from home while attending the Paddington, London office 2-4 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation & Client Management: Handle 10-12 hot mortgage leads per week from estate agencies in London and the South East, along with exclusive referrals from conveyancing firms.
  • Mortgage Advice: Provide expert mortgage and protection advice, recommending tailored solutions from across the whole of the market.
  • Client Interaction: Engage with HNW clients and overseas investors via phone, video, and face-to-face meetings, handling complex cases and large property transactions.
  • Collaborative Working: Partner with estate agency introducers to maximise conversion rates and enhance the client experience.
  • Case Management: Oversee the smooth processing of mortgage applications with the assistance of a dedicated mortgage administration team.
  • Access to Market-Leading Products: Offer clients the most competitive mortgage solutions available, including exclusive high-net-worth mortgage products and bespoke protection options.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Fully CeMAP (or equivalent) qualified Mortgage Advisor or Mortgage Broker.
  • Proven success as a Mortgage Advisor or Mortgage Broker, advising on both mortgages and protection solutions.
  • Strong background in HNW mortgage advice, with experience managing complex and high-value property transactions.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills, with a professional and consultative approach.
  • Highly organised and efficient, with the ability to handle multiple cases and deliver a seamless client experience.
  • Full UK Driving Licence (required for client meetings when necessary).
  • Must have clean credit history and no criminal convictions.
