Well established GCC banking brand is seeking a Senior Banker to join their core Real Estate arm is this senior opportunity, experience of dealing specifically with property / real estate transactions for KSA clients is absolutely key to your success in this role. The role holder will support the Head of Residential Real Estate to originate, execute and manage a portfolio of transactions in the Real Estate Finance area - Real Estate Finance will mainly target KSA clients wishing to transact business within Europe.
Duties
• Support the Head of Real estate Finance and the Private Banking Relationship Managers in the Origination and execution of real estate loans (Where the ultimate owners, borrowers or sponsors are HNWI originating from the Arab world): identifying new clients, bridging with family offices, lawyers, brokers, etc.) and taking into account the Bank's risk appetite and climate risk considerations in all business development initiatives.• Act as a business partner to PB relationship Managers: feasibility analysis for new real estate loans, assist with term sheets drafting, joint calls with RMs• Review Mortgage applications to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements• Drafting of credit applications, jointly with RMs, for credit committee approval• Execution of real estate loans: drafting term sheets, negotiating terms sheets with clients, liaising with internal and external stakeholders to agree on facilities' structure• Post term-sheet execution: liaising with internal (legal, compliance, credit) and external (notaries, lawyers, valuators, etc.) stakeholders in all matters related to RE facilities execution or closing• Actively monitor progress on applications to ensure these are progressed quickly and efficiently.• Maintain and update pipeline data• Working closely with Private Banking RMs to identify any cross selling opportunities with existing clients (refinancing of existing assets, assist in implementing an optimal financing set up ... )• Joint calls with PB RMs: attend clients' meetings, respond to clients' request for matters related to real estate financing• Undertake regular visiting programmes to Key Business Introducer (KBls) to develop ongoing relationships with key transactors (to be recorded through Call Reports).• Research, create and follow up a target list for potential new business.• Implement an active client contact programme focused on pro-actively building relationships. Develop profitable and mutually beneficial business in the Real Estate Finance area for EAB, achieving income growth, without compromising credit quality.
Must Haves
- Native/ fluent Arabic
- Experience dealing with KSA clients for property transactions.
Compensation
Base salary - (£90,000 - £110,000.00)
Further Package Value - £25,000.00 - £35,000.00)
Total Year 1 - £150,000.00 target P60 value
