Senior Technician - Delegated Authority

A long-standing Lloyd's Broker is seeking an experienced Technician in their Binding Authority team, which cover multiple lines of business, across multiple territories. The working pattern is 3 or 4 days in the office and 1 or 2 days from home.
The main focus of the role is handling the administration of premium payments, statements and bordereaux as well as the processing of new business and renewals. Duties include:
- Creating MRC Binding Authorities, Lineslips, endorsements and Consortia slips
- Chasing and monitoring premiums under term of trade
- Building relationships with Underwriters and clients
- Dealing with complex issues from clients and Brokers, meeting them in person when appropriate
- Producing debit notes and closings and submitting to Bureaux
- Using XChanging systems such as DCOM, Atlas, LWR and IMR
- Account management of client accounts
- Training and mentoring more junior members of the team
Candidates wishing to be considered must have experience in a similar technical role for a Broker, dealing with Binding Authority business. The ability to put together a Binder Slip is essential, as is experience with XChanging systems. This is an opportunity to act as number 2 to the Head of Technical and play a key part in this growing division.
