Specialist Lending Underwriter (Complex BTL / Bridging Finance)
A fantastic opportunity is available for an experienced Property Finance Underwriter to join the specialist lending department of a highly successful property finance lender.
As a Specialist Property Finance Underwriter you will responsible underwriting high value loans (£2m+), large portfolio’s, complex ownership structures and quirky security cases.
Experience for the role of Property Finance Underwriter required:
- Minimum 5 years experience in an mortgage underwriting or credit risk analysis role - with experience of underwriting large loans, portfolios and complex cases.
- Experience of manual mortgage underwriting and hold a mandate of at least £1m.
- Experience of BTL lending (Professional , Portfolio Lending, Ltd Company, HMO)
- Has experience working for a mortgage lender / property finance lender / private bank.
- Quick learner, ability to adapt and evolve.
- Self starter
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and written
- Good time management skills
- IT literate: Competent MS Office skills and ability to adapt to internal systems.
- Ambitious, proactive, and hungry to progress within the company
Up to £80k Basic + Bonus + Benefits (Dependent on experience)
