The Company:

A well-respected Insurance Broker who have over 40 years of experience within the insurance industry are now looking for an Account Executive to join their team.

As an Account Executive you will manage the broking of a portfolio of business, both new and existing. providing excellent customer service and placing business in the most suitable market.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced and capable Account Executive as you will benefit from inheriting and portfolio of clients with no targets for new business.

The Role:

  • To be fully conversant with the Procedures Manual, and the requirements of the FSA Standards and Rules, and to fully implement and maintain procedures as stipulated.
  • Act in the best interest of Customers when choosing Insurers.
  • Maintain successful working relationships with Insurers.
  • To actively take part in all training as provided, and to take ownership of maintaining/developing skills as part of continuous professional development.
  • To obey Company Rules and Regulations, as noted in your Contract of Employment, and any other communications from the Company Management,
  • To assimilate, analyse and present information to Insurers underwriters to achieve risk acceptance at the most advantageous terms.
  • To carry out all duties and tasks in accordance with the FSA.

The Candidate:

  • An understanding of standard cover/terms/conditions of all policy covers broked by you.
  • An understanding of insurance Law.
  • An awareness of the FSA, Rules and Procedures, as they relate to your job.
  • A detailed knowledge of the market in which you operate.
  • An understanding of Microsoft Office, Email, and Acturis (desirable)
