Accounting Manager

• Salary: £60,000-£70,000, with opportunity for further progression

We are excited to offer an opportunity for a proactive and ambitious Accounting Manager to join our team in Hendon, Northwest London. This role is perfect for someone who is fully qualified in ACA or ACCA. With a minimum of 5 years of practice experience, the successful candidate will oversee the work of bookkeepers and seniors, reporting directly to the partners.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Manage and oversee the work of bookkeepers and seniors within the department.
• Advise on any queries related to the department’s operations.
• Ensure full knowledge and compliance with UK taxes including corporate, VAT, and individual taxes; international knowledge is an advantage.
• Problem-solving with innovative and out-of-the-box thinking.
• Act as a team worker and motivator, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• ACA or ACCA fully qualified
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a practice environment.
• Comprehensive knowledge of UK tax regulations, with international tax knowledge being a plus.
• Proven ability to manage staff, caseloads, and client relationships effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively.
• Excellent team-working skills with a motivational leadership style.
