We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Supervisor to join an Airline in London. This role is responsible for managing the company’s accounting and treasury operations, optimizing related processes, and supporting general administration. Additionally, the Accounting Supervisor will lead and develop Accounting Assistants while ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Verify the accuracy of invoices, accounting documents, and records.
- Maintain and update accounting journals, ledgers, and financial transaction records (e.g., disbursements, expense vouchers, receipts, and accounts payable).
- Enter and validate data using SAP and other accounting software.
- Compile and prepare financial reports for management review.
- Reconcile records and resolve discrepancies by coordinating with internal employees, management, vendors, and customers.
- Ensure compliance with HMRC tax-related payments and inquiries.
- Act as the main point of contact for banks regarding payments.
- Manage inter-office correspondence and general administrative duties.
- Support additional business activities related to accounting and ESG initiatives within the EMEAR region.
? Fluent Japanese speaker (spoken and written).? 1–2 years of experience in general accounting.? Strong understanding of GDPR and data confidentiality.? Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Gmail, and Google Workspace.
