What We're Looking For:We are offering two potential roles depending on your experience and qualifications:
- Accounting Supervisor (Grade 2): Minimum 2 years of experience in bank reconciliation, general accounting, and treasury work.
- Assistant Manager (Grade 1): A deeper level of expertise, backed by a recognised accounting certification.
Your Responsibilities:As part of the General Administration team, you'll handle a wide range of tasks, including:
- Verifying and maintaining accurate financial records and invoices.
- Using SAP and other systems to manage accounting journals, ledgers, and reports.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory reporting requirements.
- Liaising with banks, HMRC, and other stakeholders.
- Coaching and developing junior accounting staff.
- Supporting ESG initiatives and other general administrative duties.
What You Bring:
- Proven experience in accounting and treasury (minimum 2 years).
- A professional accounting background (Chartered Accountant qualification or studying toward it).
- Attention to detail and strong prioritisation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Workspace.
- A team player mindset with the ability to work independently.
Key Details:
- Contract: Two-year fixed-term contract with potential for permanent position
- Start Date: January or February 2025.
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM (37.5 hours per week).
