Accounts and Tax Manager

Bennett & Game are pleased to be partnering a highly reputable and medium sized accountancy practice based in Central London who are recruiting for a Senior Accountant to join their growing team. Offering a competitive salary range of circa £60-80k (DOE), fully covered transport costs, onsite breakfast and lunch, 22 days holiday with option to buy more, and much more

This position is well suited to a qualified and experienced accountant, with extensive practice experience in accounts and tax, with great leadership skills, passion, and ambition

• Financial Performance and Growth
  • Ensuring all client statutory accounts are prepared and submitted to an excellent level of quality, and are compliant with accounting standards
  • Ensuring tax returns to be fully compliant with legislations
  • Always looking for ways to improve processes and efficiency
• Customers and people
  • Communicating with clients, ensuring fluent communication and excellent relationships
  • Ensuring internal deadlines are set for stuff, and are held accountable
  • Working with client managers to improve quality of client records
• Operations and systems
  • Schedule client workflows based on prioritisation from client managers
  • Managing peak workflow periods to ensure seamless client experience

• Must be ACA or ACCA qualified
• Proven work experience in accounting/tax role within an accountancy practice
• Experience in leadership and management
• Displays integrity, excellence, interpersonal understanding, and is detail oriented
• A customer-oriented approach, interpersonal skills and communication skills
• Excellent knowledge of MS office
• Able to commute into Central London office
• No requirement for visa sponsorship

• Competitive salary range depending on experience ranging from £60,000-80,000
• 22 days holiday plus bank holidays, plus your birthday off, and option to purchase additional holiday
