Accounts Assistant Manager | £55,000 - £60,000 | Ideal for a Senior looking to step up!

Are you an Accounts Senior that doesn’t see the next step in your current firm? Or a portfolio in the near future? Then we have the ideal position for a progression driven individual to join a social firm and step into that portfolio management position they desire.

Role:

  • Reviewing corporate accounts prepared by junior team members as well as sole trader accounts
  • Preparation and finalisation of accounts and corporate tax returns in both FRS 105 and FRS 102
  • Manging workflow and ensuring accounts and tax returns are prepare and filed on time
  • Supporting partners and managers with day to day ad hoc queries
  • Filing accounts with Companies House and HMRC
  • Preparation of personal tax returns
  • Handling day to day queries from clients
  • Research and assistance with more technical areas
  • Training of junior team members

Ideal Candidate:

  • A minimum of 4 years within a practice
  • 1 + year post qualification
  • Experience reviewing juniors work
