Role Overview:

I am currently recruiting for a skilled and qualified accountant to join my clients busy Creative & Media Division, supporting a wide portfolio of clients across the music, entertainment, and business sectors. This is a fantastic opportunity to manage the day-to-day financial affairs of their creative clients, ranging from individuals to companies, while supporting the development of junior staff. You'll work closely with the team's Partners and Managers, ensuring high-quality service delivery across bookkeeping, financial reporting, and compliance.

What you will be doing as an Accounts Assistant Manager

  • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping, financial reporting, payments, and budgeting for clients in the Media and Entertainment sectors.
  • Oversee compliance with statutory deadlines for accounts, tax, VAT, and other financial requirements.
  • Prepare year-end accounts files and VAT returns for manager/partner sign-off.
  • Act as the first point of contact for clients and liaise with third parties.
  • Lead, support, and develop junior team members to ensure deadlines are met and quality is maintained.

What you'll need to succeed

  • ACA/ACCA qualified with post-qualification experience.
  • Strong technical knowledge of FRS 102/FRS 105 standards.
  • Proficient in CaseWare, Xero, and QuickBooks Online.
  • Confident communicator with clients, team members, and senior staff.
  • Experience in leading teams and providing guidance to more junior staff.
  • Commercially aware and able to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
