What you will be doing as an Accounts Manager:
- Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, providing a full range of accounting services.
- Oversee and review the preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and management accounts.
- Lead and manage a team (ideally), providing mentorship and support while overseeing their workload.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing a high level of customer service and expert advice.
- Drive the growth of the portfolio, identifying new opportunities for the firm.
What you'll need to succeed
- Strong ACA or ACCA exam record with significant progress in your qualification (preferably completed at least 1.5 years of your training contract).
- ACA or ACCA qualified.
- Demonstrable experience managing a portfolio of clients, ideally within a practice setting.
- Experience in managing or mentoring a team is highly desirable.
- Strong technical skills and up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
