A dynamic and growing Property Acquisition company based in West Hampstead is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Property Accounts Manager to support the Finance Director in managing a variety of accounting and financial tasks. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative team and further develop your accounting skills with the comprehensive training provided. You must have property transactions experience to be considered for this role.As an Accounts Manager, you will provide essential support to the Finance Director by assisting in a variety of accounting functions. Your responsibilities will include managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling financial transactions, and preparing reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance. This role will also involve handling intercompany reconciliations and VAT/CIS/HMRC returns, with training provided.Key Responsibilities:

  • Intercompany Reconciliations
  • Work In Progress (WIP) Reconciliations
  • CIS Returns
  • VAT Returns
  • HMRC & Companies House Returns
  • Supplier Management

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Experience:

  • Previous experience in a property accounting or finance assistant/manager role, ideally within a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with purchase and sales invoicing, bank reconciliations, and preparing payments schedules is preferred.
  • Knowledge of intercompany reconciliations and WIP would be advantageous, but not essential.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (experience with financial formulas, pivot tables, etc.).
  • Experience using accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, QuickBooks) is beneficial.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliations.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines effectively.

  • Highly organised, proactive, and eager to learn and develop in the accounting field.
