Remuneration: £45,000 - £48,000 plus a range of benefits

As the Accounts Payable Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of 4 and overseeing all accounts payable functions within our client's organisation. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional with a minimum of 3 years of solid accounts payable experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Responsibilities:

  • ?? Manage a team and effectively plan, review, and evaluate accounts payable tasks.
  • ?? Establish and implement procedures and guidelines to mitigate the risk of theft and fraud while ensuring efficient processing.
  • ?? Utilise CAPP guidelines to ensure effective internal controls and assist team members in achieving department goals.
  • ?? Respond to internal and external requests for information and assistance, ensuring equal distribution of work within the team.
  • ?? Process electronic transfers and payments, oversee staff expenses, and conduct aged creditor reviews.
  • ?? Maintain, approve, and reconcile accounts payable transactions, verifying invoices and authorising payments.
  • ?? Cultivate inclusive and respectful working relationships, communicating effectively with colleagues and the wider accounts team.
  • ? Identify and implement efficiencies in the accounts payable function, supporting testing for projects and upgrades.
  • ?? Carry out ad hoc tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • ?? Accounts payable qualification CAPP or similar.
  • ?? Minimum 3 years of experience as an Accounts Payable Manager in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • ?? Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with a professional attitude.
  • �? Strong customer focus and good knowledge of Oracle-based systems.
  • ?? Highly numerate and accurate, with excellent attention to detail.
  • ?? Good knowledge of Excel and experience working across multiple Outlook inboxes.
  • ?? Leadership skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • ?? Historic experience of using NetSuite.
  • ?? Service industry experience (Manpower).
