I am partnering with a fantastic business to bring on an Accounts Payable Manager, for a 12 month Maternity contract cover.

  • Hybrid: 4 days in the office 1 from home
  • Location: London
  • Salary: Up to £75,000 depending on experience

What can you expect?

  • Oversee timely and accurate invoice processing and payments across the Group.
  • Ensure AP sub-ledger is well-maintained with timely allocations and reconciliations.
  • Support financial accounting with monthly accruals, prepayments, and spend analysis.
  • Maintain high service standards through responsive communication with suppliers and departments.
  • Drive P2P process improvements to support growth and develop a best-in-class function.
  • Collaborate with Procurement to enhance operational efficiency and compliance.
  • Develop insightful reporting for senior leadership and maintain process documentation.
  • Educate the wider business to ensure adherence to financial procedures.
  • Lead and support a team of AP professionals, ensuring effective resource planning.
  • Set and monitor SLAs/KPIs to drive performance and service excellence.
  • Provide ongoing training, development, and formal appraisals aligned with HR processes.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment.

What skills can you bring?

  • Proven success in a similar managerial role, with experience transforming AP functions and leading teams through change.
  • Background in large, multi-site organisations.
  • Industry background - Hospitality, Retail, Property.
  • Proficient in SAP and advanced Excel.
