I am partnering with a fantastic business to bring on an Accounts Payable Manager, for a 12 month Maternity contract cover.

- Salary: Up to £75,000 depending on experience
What can you expect?
- Oversee timely and accurate invoice processing and payments across the Group.
- Ensure AP sub-ledger is well-maintained with timely allocations and reconciliations.
- Support financial accounting with monthly accruals, prepayments, and spend analysis.
- Maintain high service standards through responsive communication with suppliers and departments.
- Drive P2P process improvements to support growth and develop a best-in-class function.
- Collaborate with Procurement to enhance operational efficiency and compliance.
- Develop insightful reporting for senior leadership and maintain process documentation.
- Educate the wider business to ensure adherence to financial procedures.
- Lead and support a team of AP professionals, ensuring effective resource planning.
- Set and monitor SLAs/KPIs to drive performance and service excellence.
- Provide ongoing training, development, and formal appraisals aligned with HR processes.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment.
What skills can you bring?
- Proven success in a similar managerial role, with experience transforming AP functions and leading teams through change.
- Background in large, multi-site organisations.
- Industry background - Hospitality, Retail, Property.
- Proficient in SAP and advanced Excel.
