Description

The accounts receivables team is part of Finance Operations function and is responsible for billing and collections of payments due.

The purpose of this role is to provide strategic leadership and management to the Accounts Receivables area ensuring it meets key performance metrics such as billing, error-free processing, cash allocation and timely settlement of debtors, whilst providing high quality service to internal and external customers.

This role is also responsible for developing and improving processes and controls in the function.

Profile

A successful applicant should have:

  • A flexible and adaptable leader with the ability to lead through change.
  • Demonstrable ability to engage and motivate remote teams while keeping them focused on high standards and delivery.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and influencing skills, good knowledge and understanding of Finance and wider Agency's priorities.
  • Experience of Credit Control and complex Accounts Receivable Ledger management
  • Strong financial management skills and ability to question shortcomings and seek operational enhancements.
  • Substantial knowledge of credit control and debt management strategies and knowledge of Oracle fusion or other similar systems.
