We are seeking a skilled Interim Accounts Supervisor to join a dynamic finance team during a period of significant change and transition. This temporary role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a critical project while supporting the ongoing success of the organisation’s financial operations.

About the Role

As the Interim Accounts Supervisor, you will play a key role in supporting the Financial Controller in overseeing Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Staff Expenses (T&E) during the implementation of a new finance system, Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365). This is a pivotal role designed to ensure a seamless leadership transition and effective adoption of the new system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • System Integration Support: Develop super-user expertise in D365 modules for AP, AR, and T&E.
  • Team Training & Development: Provide training and guidance to finance staff to build readiness for the new system.
  • Leadership & Continuity: Act as the interim team lead, ensuring operational stability during the transition.
  • Project Support: Collaborate with the system project team on User Acceptance Testing, data migration, and the creation of Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Point of Escalation: Troubleshoot issues and resolve queries related to the new system during its implementation.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience managing or supervising finance teams, particularly in AP, AR, or T&E functions.
  • Strong understanding of financial processes and system implementation.
  • Ability to train, mentor, and support teams through change.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
  • Leadership qualities, adaptability, and effective communication at all levels.

Desirable Skills:

  • Expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • Experience working with international suppliers and foreign currency.
