Our client is a leading communications company based in the UK with a strong presence throughout Europe. They are looking for an experienced AP / AR Manager to join their busy finance function on a permanent basis. They are based in East London and offer hybrid working.

The role will manage two junior staff who oversee the AP / AR function here in the UK. They are looking for a candidate with a proven track record in managing high volume AP / AR teams, improving processes and is able to confidently communicate with internal (UK & Europe) and external partners.

  • Managing 2 AP / AR Assistants
  • Ensuring timely and accurate processing of a all invoices (incl. multi-currency)
  • Resolve all disputes / queries and escalate where required
  • Communicate with wider business of change, compliance, and training
  • Liaise with European territories finance functions
  • Drive and improve systems and procedures where necessary
  • Work with senior management to close month end
  • Deliver reporting back to senior finance team
  • Support cash management and forecasting
