The Role:

Assist the General Manager in managing the resident`s finances and operations. Do you have passion for performing accounting duties, such as creating financial reports and handling invoices? Then we have room for you, in a company that will recognise, reward and grow your potential.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily financial transactions, such as collecting rent and reconciling accounts.
  • Supporting the training and development of your team to help them reach their potential
  • Ensure data integrity by using backups and upgrades to ensure appropriate operation of property management software.
  • Manage resident accounts, communicating about outstanding balances and implementing collection procedures.
  • Review and process invoices from vendors, obtaining approvals and managing communication.
  • Handle evictions according to company procedures, including court appearances if necessary.
  • Manage resident move-outs, applying lease terms and legal requirements for deposit refunds.
  • Address resident concerns promptly to enhance satisfaction and retention.
  • Supervise daily operations in the absence of the General Manager, coordinating tasks and ensuring compliance with policies.
  • Assist in client/owner relations, providing updates and addressing requests as needed.

  • Able to demonstrate how to build confidence in teams and recognise great performance
  • Has a track record in attracting and developing future leaders
  • Able to manage challenging conversation and provide developmental support to ensure the team meets the expected standard of performance across all activities, and managing underperformance where necessary
  • Able to drive a culture of high-performance and lifelong learning, taking responsibility to develop own areas of growth and supporting the team through regular 1-to-1 conversations
  • Can solve complex problems by analysing problems to understand underlying issues and root causes, and makes it right
  • Has the ability to create environments where people are open and best practice can be shared

  • Can explain what it means to deliver a great student experience in a way which is meaningful and motivating
  • You are able to delegate tasks fairly, bearing in mind your team`s strengths and weaknesses

  • You communicate effectively, by actively listening, making points logically, and by using appropriate language, tone, and gesture
  • You remain calm and focussed, even in difficult or pressurised situations
  • You are confident working both alone on your own or as part of a team
  • You understand and respect the diversity of others` cultures, beliefs, and backgrounds.
