Our client, a leading multi-disciplinary advisory, tax, and audit firm in London, is seeking a Technical Manager to join their Audit & Accounting Advisory team. This is an exciting opportunity for an ACA/ACCA qualified professional to provide high-quality technical advice and contribute to the firm's mission of driving positive change.
Position OverviewAs a Technical Manager, you will play a crucial role in providing technical advice on the application of international and UK accounting standards. You will address ad-hoc technical queries, prepare technical guidance material, and assist in developing and reviewing audit methodology. Additionally, you will contribute to the firm's training initiatives by preparing and delivering courses on auditing and financial reporting matters.
Responsibilities-
Provide high-quality technical advice on the application of international and UK accounting standards

Address ad-hoc technical queries and prepare technical guidance material

Assist in developing and reviewing audit methodology and recommend improvements

Prepare and deliver training courses on auditing and financial reporting matters

Assist in performing cold file reviews of audit files and completing audit and technical-related Root Cause Analyses (RCAs)

Research new and emerging technical issues

ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent)

Strong technical skills in both UK GAAP (FRS 102) and International Financial Reporting Standards

Experience in a technical role or audit with an interest in technical and training matters

Advantage: Experience working with AIM-listed companies and/or Public Interest Entities (PIEs)

Advantage: Some experience in data analytics/audit software
