Audit Assistant Manager | TV & Film Accountancy Practice | London

Harmonic is delighted to be working exclusively with one of the UK's fastest growing practices, who have several exciting openings in their ever-expanding media team.

Our client has been expanding the team following recent years of excellent financial performance, they are one of the fastest-growing firms in the UK. They cover several areas ranging from Tech start-ups to innovative retail companies, this role in particular will sit in the growing TV & Film team.

This practice is renowned for fostering a non-corporate, sociable and flexible work environment. They adopt policies such as flexible working hours and hybrid working (2 days in the office per week minimum).

The Role:

As an Audit Assistant Manager, you will be reporting into a Partner who has established their career within the TV & Film space. They have an excellent track record in developing and mentoring colleagues. This is a great opportunity to learn closely from a talented mentor, and act as a true strategic partner to them.

This role will involve planning and execution of audits for several clients within their TV and Film team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified accountant to join a flexible, fun, and exciting team to develop their career and capabilities in the audit sector.

The Duties:

The main duties will include:

  • Manage a sizeable portfolio of audit clients in the media industry, liaise with them to ensure open client communication
  • Planning, co-ordinating, controlling and reviewing all work in assigned portfolio
  • Oversee all aspects of audit fieldwork and completion
  • Lead onsite audit teams, preparing and reviewing financial statements and updating management as needed
  • Mentor and manage junior team members
  • Supporting with any ad-hoc projects that arise

What we need to see (essential):

  • Newly ACA Qualified (or Part-Qualified ACA)
  • Audit background

What we need to see (beneficial):

  • Previous experience working with clients in the Media, Entertainment or Music industry.

Salary: £55,000-£60,000 + bonus and generous benefits

Working pattern: 3 days in-office (flexible), flexible working hours
